. . . and the work goes on Under the Butternut Tree. Preparations are underway for Easter.
. . .and the work goes on here in the electronic world. The work of starting a blog takes even longer than I ever thought. I am setting up email capabilities and trying to get the look of the blog just right. Also, I am still searching for the perfect logo. That’s a search which may take a while. I am still experimenting with the colors and fonts and layout of the blog. I am SO slow with the technical aspects, but I have good teachers. I will share my resources once I am sure my e-mentors will be pleased to be linked with my blog.
. . . and the work goes on around our house. Last month we had a leak develop in the water line in our refrigerator. Fortunately we were home and discovered the problem quickly, but it is astounding how much water a pinhole leak can spread in a short time.
The truly sad thing is that we had a much worse leak in the kitchen area last year from a water pipe which caused us to replace the flooring in most of the house. Talk about a recurring nightmare!

Water damage extended into the butler’s pantry.

Damage continued across the back hallway and into the master bedroom.
. . . and the work goes on. The floors are repaired and the repairs are seamless! I am so happy and so relieved.
The Easter table shown at the beginning of the post is from another year. Here is what the dining room has actually looked like:
All right! Enough fun. Time to get back to work. I promise more pictures when the cleaning is done and the house is dressed for spring – finally!
Come back soon! There’s lots going on Under the Butternut Tree.
